Why the Apollo program stopped? water and life
There is a lot of water (in the form of ice) on the moon. Regolith also is containing
the elements to make water.
No doubt about that ice for forty years.
And where there is ice there could be life. Finding a primitive life
form on the moon would make the cost of a manned moon trip a negligible factor.
